Alexandra Rauscher is a freelance writer & journalist based in Mexico.

She reports on stories at the intersection of technology, environment, and society – with a focus on the people at the center of it all: local communities experiencing larger shifts firsthand, and those driving change from within. She also writes about art and culture, is editor of the magazine Art in San Miguel, and regularly contributes commentary and analysis to the Latin America Correspondent column. Her work appears in international and German-language media.
